The BIM-CH1 insulation monitoring device is unaffected by DC voltage fluctuations and pole insulation resistance symmetry. It features RS-485/Modbus communication for remote monitoring and uses unbalanced and balanced bridge methods to measure insulation resistance and voltage to ground, with optional temperature sensors available.
