This lathe features a D1-4 cam lock spindle for quick speed changes and safe reverse turning, along with a geared drive headstock. It has precision hardened and ground 'V' beds, automatic longitudinal and cross feeds, 8 spindle speeds from 70-2000rpm, a quick-change feed gearbox for easy thread cutting, and a removable gap bed for turning up to 502mm.
