Sasol 7835 microcrystalline wax is soluble in chloroform, ether, benzene, carbon disulfide, volatile oils, and many fixed oils, but not in water or alcohol. It is tough, plastic, ductile, flexible, and cohesive, making it excellent for laminating, coating, or hardening materials.
